Story about Le Cinciole Toscana Rosato IGT find out?

Rosato Toscana IGT from Le Cinciole

The Tuscan Rosato made from one hundred percent Sangiovese

In addition to the excellent red wines, Le Cinciole also has a rosato in its range. What sets this rosato apart from many other comparable wines in the region is the fact that it is made from one hundred percent Sangiovese grapes at Le Cinciole. The grapes are left to macerate for around 12 hours before the must is vinified further - the same process is used as for white wine. Fermentation takes place at a maximum of 15 degrees Celsius - as does maturation - in stainless steel tanks. The Rosato is finally bottled in the spring after the harvest, when the moon is waning, in good time before the summer begins. The result is Rosato Toscana IGT, a light, sparkling summer wine with a fruity, fresh taste and sharp acidity that is the perfect "palate cleanser" for dinner with friends.

Podere Le Cinciole: winegrowing in Tuscany in harmony with nature

Living in harmony with nature and creating a cycle with the environment is both a challenge and a way of life. And it is precisely this challenge that Valeria and Luca Orsini face with their Podere Le Cinciole winery, which is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico wine region on the outskirts of the small, medieval village of Panzano. The two took over the estate in 1991 and have been pioneers in organic farming in Panzano in Chianti ever since. The farm has been certified organic since 2002. At the same time, Valeria and Luca are always open to the use of new technologies, which in turn help to provide the vines with the best possible care and subsequently produce the best wines. The property belonging to Le Cinciole extends over thirty hectares, of which eleven hectares are used as vineyards and five hectares as olive groves.

From red wine to rosato: Sangiovese plays first fiddle here

Le Cinciole's range includes a total of six wines and an olive oil. Valeria and Luca's main focus is clearly on Sangiovese, the autochthonous grape variety of Tuscany: first and foremost, of course, there is the Chianti Classico - 100 percent Sangiovese. Then there is the Riserva with the name Aluigi - also a pure Sangiovese. The top wine of the house is undoubtedly the Petresco - and here, too, only Sangiovese is used. For this wine, Valeria and Luca select the absolute top grapes themselves. And rather unusually, the fresh rosato at Le Cinciole is also made exclusively from the classic "Chianti grape". The international varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah are used for the powerful Camalaione. The Cinciorosso, the "little brother" of the Camalaione, contains 70% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 5% Merlot grapes. What all the wines have in common: They are all 100 percent organic. The olive oil is also "green": the fruity extra virgin olive oil is of course also organic and is an integral part of every genuine Tuscan meal.

Certified organic since 2002 - and everything is organic on vacation too...

When Valeria and Luca Le Cinciole took over as newcomers to the wine business, it quickly became clear to them: chemicals and pesticides had to go. After all, if you have to wear a full-body protective suit to "treat" the vines without damaging them, how can that be good for the plants and later for the wine? That was the trigger for Le Cinciole to switch to organic farming. In addition, the electricity needed at Le Cinciole is produced with solar panels that follow the path of the sun. Plants are sown between the rows of vines to maintain the biological balance in the vineyard. All organic waste is collected and carefully composted, returning it to the larger cycle. And, Le Cinciole is also a great place to spend your vacation - completely organic, of course: two lovingly furnished apartments for four people each, located in the middle of the vineyards, await wine and Tuscany lovers. A wonderful pool, small, secluded terraces, barbecue areas and incomparable views make your vacation an unforgettable experience.
