In Tuscany, olive oil is produced with love and care on almost every estate. Varieties such as Frantoio, Moraiolo, Morcaio or Leccino are true classics. These produce oils that are absolutely top class. Harvest time is from the end of October to the beginning of December: the green olives are picked by hand and then cold-pressed. The oil is then filtered and bottled, ready for connoisseurs.
As with wine, each olive oil tells its own story - shaped by the terroir and the signature of the producer. Take a fresh olive oil, dip a piece of bread in it and you will taste Tuscany: spicy, fresh, fruity - depending on the oil. And suddenly you have the rolling hills before your inner eye. Simply pure pleasure!
