The Fattoria Tregole estate, run by Sophie Conte and her mother Edith, is idyllically situated in the Chianti Classico region. On six hectares of vineyards, which are cultivated according to organic principles, the estate produces wines of exceptional elegance and finesse. Tregole has a rich history dating back to 1003 and is located in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti on a hill surrounded by three valleys. The special microclimate and the specific geological conditions, such as the Galestro and Macigno soils, contribute to the high quality of the wines.
Sophie Conte, who originally worked in marketing, took over wine production in 2014 and has quickly established herself as a talented winemaker. Her wines, including Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva and Gran Selezione, are made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes and fermented in cement tanks. The winery also offers stylish accommodation for up to 20 guests, who can enjoy the historic charm and breathtaking landscape of Tuscany.
